PROCRASTINATION

Straight Laziness

Oh man... there are days! There will be times when you need to seriously check yourself, here are some good indications... couch, TV, couch again, fridge, sleep, fridge, bathroom, couch, TV, trying to find something in the clutter, back to couch, video games, fridge, bathroom, and cat! If this seems like a routine to you and you are fully capable of being active, working, and have no disability outside of your excuses than... you need to human up! Turn the coffee pot on and get to work! Laziness is a habit rather than a mental health issue and it may reflect a lack of self-esteem, a lack of positive recognition by others, a lack of discipline stemming from low self-confidence, or a lack of interest in the activity or belief in its efficacy! Laziness may manifest as procrastination or vacillation and studies of motivation suggest, that laziness may be caused by a decreased level of motivation, which in turn can be caused by over-stimulation or excessive impulses or distractions. These increase the release of dopamine, a neurotransmitter responsible for reward and pleasure! The more dopamine that is released, the greater intolerance one has for valuing and accepting productive and rewarding action! This desensitization leads to the dulling of the neural patterns and affects negatively the anterior insula, of the brain responsible for risk perception! For other’s opinions and more information on this topic, check out Googles #1 top-ranked website @... https://www.inc.com/nicolas-cole/8-things-successful-people-do-that-lazy-people-do-not.html and see what they are saying!

The Avoidance

When it comes to avoidance, you may find yourself avoiding things just because they seem difficult or impossible to do and require lots of energy and thinking on your part, however, this is a prime indication that you may be utilizing procrastination as a crutch! The truth is, if you don’t want to do something, you won’t do it, and If you do it, it will be because you want to or at least because you must do it! Avoiding a situation or task because it appears to be difficult or time-consuming, is not a viable enough reason to not do something! So when it comes to the things you have pushed off to the side for far to long now...It’s time to pull up your big boy or big girl panties and get to work! For other’s opinions and more information on this topic, check out Googles #1 top-ranked website @... https://www.inc.com/marla-tabaka/how-to-stop-avoiding-things-that-overwhelm-you.html and see what they are saying!

Starting Up

When you finally find the drive and motivation you need to get started (a big enough reason), with whatever it is that you must do, this will be the switch point for you! Start by prepping yourself with baby steps because smaller steps are easier to accomplish but enough of them in a series can result in the accomplishment of a massive goal! When setting up your plan to do something, remember to give yourself lots of space to think and work efficiently on your task at hand but more importantly, remember to create milestones within your steps, that offer you little rewards for micro-accomplishments! For other’s opinions and more information on this topic, check out Googles #1 top-ranked website @... https://www.entrepreneur.com/article/325144 and see what they are saying!
